UNDERSTANDING AND ENGAGING WITH THE NEW EUROPEAN BAUHAUS THROUGH DESIGN-THINKING

Within the framework of the CERV-2023-CITIZENS-CIV call, project no. 101147915, co-funded by the European Union

The New European Bauhaus (NEB) is a strategic EU initiative aimed at fostering harmonious environments and shared experiences to address Europe’s ecological and social challenges. It combines aesthetics, sustainability, and inclusivity to enhance quality of life through innovative design-thinking. This workshop will explore everyday elements and offer practical insights on applying NEB principles in cultural work. Participants will engage in an observation and collective feedback exercise, immersing themselves in the core values and design principles of NEB: sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusivity. An urban exploration will help develop a new mindset, encouraging participants to see things differently and more consciously. This event is part of the WILDCAT project, co-funded by the European Union: have a look at this link for more information.
